CARNIVAL MASK CRAFTS

Carnival is the funniest party of the year! Let’s make together an amazing and original mask:

Bunny Mask. Materials you need:

        Small paper plate  - Un plato de cartón o plástico

     Pink card – cartulina rosa

     Scissors  -tijeras

     Elastic -elástico

     Glue -pegamento

     White card – cartulina blanca

     Fawn pompom – un pompon color beis

                                         3 white chenille sticks–3 tiras de felpilla color blanca.  

·                                       Pink painty pen – Un rotulador color rosa

Step 1

Put plate up to face and mark holes for eyes and holes at the sides for the elastic. Cut out eye holes and little holes. (if you are too little for scissors an adult can help you with this). Thread and tie the elastic.

Dibuja la cara en el plato y marca agujeros para los ojos y a los lados para  el elástico . Recorta los ojos y  los agujeritos de los lados. (Si eres muy pequeño para usar tijeras, un adulto puede ayudarte con esto).  Pasa el elástico por los agujeros de los lados y haz un nudo.

Step 2

Cut out ears from the white card and glue to the top of the mask. Cut smaller ears from pink card and glue in the centre of the white ears.

Recorta orejas de cartulina blanca y pégalas en la máscara. Corta orejas más pequeñas de cartulina rosa y pégalas en el centro de las orejas blancas.

Step 3

Twist the three chenille sticks together in the centre and glue to the mask for whiskers. Glue the pompom nose on top. Draw a mouth using the pink painty pen. Now have fun wearing your mask.

Une las 3 tiras de felpilla blanca , enróscalas y pégalas para hacer los bigotes. Pega el pompón de nariz. Dibuja una boca usando un rotulador rosa. Ahora diviértete usando tu máscara.

OTHER KINDS OF MASKS.

Print  out  a mask  or  draw it on white card. Imprime una máscara o dibújala en una cartulina blanca.

Colour  and decorate it. You can use feathers and glue them to the back of the mask. Colorea y decórala. Puedes usar plumas y pegarlas en la parte de atrás de la máscara.

Cut out the mask. . Recorta la máscara

Cut out the eyes. Recorta los ojos.

Glue  a piece of stick to the back of the mask or punch a hole in each side of the mask. Thread and tie the elastic Pega un trozo de palo en la parte de atrás de la máscara o haz un agujero en cada lado de la máscara. Pasa el elástico por los agujeros y haz un nudo
